Olá!

My story is one of triumph over adversity and the profound impact of cooking in shaping my life. From humble beginnings in Brazil to mastering the culinary arts across continents, my journey reflects my unyielding passion and dedication to crafting exceptional dining experiences that transcend cultural boundaries. Cooking became more than a profession; it became the very essence of my existence—a story I share through the exclusive and captivating culinary experiences offered to my esteemed guests.

My Story

My journey is a testament to the transformative power of culinary artistry and the resilience that cooking instilled in me.

I was born in the northeast of Brazil in a small village in Maranhão called Bacuri. Then, at the age of 12, I moved to Belém do Pará in the northern region. My childhood was surrounded by the Amazon rainforest and a challenging environment. To be able to continue my secondary education, I started cooking for a wealthy family in exchange for a place to live and attend school. It was during this period that I discovered my innate culinary aptitude, realizing that the combination of diverse flavors held the promise of a more prosperous and gratifying life. In many ways, I consider that cooking became my saving grace at a remarkably tender age.

My trajectory led me to France as a young woman. In the heart of this culturally rich country, I found myself immersed in the culinary world, serving as a chef for a cinematographic producer preparing daily meals for about 400 individuals, including  actors and staff. It was within the vibrant culinary landscape of Paris that I sought, years later, a formal professional training at the esteemed Alain Ducasse Culinary School.

My journey didn't end in France. I then married a very enthusiast French man and we have two wonderful now young adult kids who are my true north. My family relocated to Jamaica and after that to Qatar, where I further expanded my culinary horizons and later to the United States place where we are stablished and where I could flourish as a cook, as I had the privilege of collaborating with a Michelin-starred Chef, in his refined restaurant in Washington DC, an invaluable experience that enriches my culinary repertoire significantly.

It's a long trajectory but I feel like my story has just begun. Each dish I cook is a narrative, reflective of the diverse chapters of my journey—from the heart of the Amazon to the vibrant streets of Paris, and now, within the kaleidoscope of culinary innovation in the United States. My goal is to welcome you to an epicurean voyage that transcends flavors, encapsulating the essence of the remarkable journey that brings each creation to your table.
